the house is where the model is made.
the model was made by markie in 1997.
in the beginning, as it is now, there are ideas.
analog and early digital synthesizers,
roland drum machines and pedals,
are most often used to try to turn ideas into something.
the model was made from used dental chair parts.

the model productions
after starting the model in 1997, markie went on to create the model productions with several fellow students in 1998 and self-published a manifesto. out of this came a series of semi-annual philosophic-kraut-pop parties in Philadelphia warehouses over the next few years. these performances became more and more elaborate over time, and were facilitated by many artists, designers, photographers, poets and actors who believed in the model. the live experiences were usually filled with analog synths and video, electronic beats and telegraphic speech, and always full of nonsense and surprises.
a full-length album was recorded in 2003,
this was th model.
this lead to several more parties.
the final performance was a solitary ceremony
in the Western part of Iceland
photographed by t.m.p. co-founder Jeremy Evans Thomas in 2005.
