what is House of The Model? you may have seen me say something like "the house is where the model was made and markiemodel is born." that came to me once when i was asked about this and because it is true i keep saying it. let me try to explain it better.

let me say something about this image first. this is an 8-bit representation of the original "model," a keyboard stand i made with my father out of old dental shop parts when i was in high school. primary colors were important in those days and still are.

i think conceptual ground was broken on the house in or around 1997. many blueprinters and builders have come through since that time and contributed a great deal to its becoming. some of this history is covered here.

inside the house are many rooms and there is a lot happening in each one. and while each room is its own world, they are nonetheless part of the house and an important part of the house.

instead of asking "who lives here?" i ask myself "what is a house for?" a house is for a life, the living of a life. House of The Model has been where i can live my life in a very important way. and now i open the door to you and other people in this way.
